Easter wedding of delightful daffodils!

Spring Wedding Flowers

Congratulations Nikki and Carl !! Last Thursday I had the pleasure of providing the flowers for this perfect Easter Wedding, taking place at Rothley Court Hotel, Rothley. It was such a beautiful sunny morning as I delivered the flowers to Rothley court and I even spotted some baby rabbits in the grounds (they moved too quickly for me to take a photo!). The bride Nikki had the idea of having daffodils for her bouquet from the minute I met her from her first wedding consultation way back last September. We chose together to have a mixture of daffodils and the baby narcissi, which were so cute and also smelt divine.      The daffodil bride’s bouquet definitely added a cheerful splash of colour to the wedding day. The jam jar table decorations of gyp and daffodils I created were all set off by the event and hire company Princess Occasions, who provided the wooden slices and matching chair covers with yellow ribbons. The bridesmaids all had bouquets of gypsophilla with lemon ribbons, as were the buttonholes to complement Nikkis bouquet. I really hope the day was a huge success and wish you both all the happiness for the future! Katie xx P.s Enjoy Vegas!!!

First Wedding of Spring!!

First Wedding 2017

Congratulations Emma and Matt ………… Last weekend I was delighted to be able to play my part in the special day of Emma and Matt. Having met the lovely couple some months ago now for their first wedding consultation it never fails to amaze me how quickly the wedding days come round! Emma has always had a love of Gerbera flowers so we decided to incorporate them into her bouquet along with the most beautiful cream avalanche roses. To complement her bouquet the bridesmaid and buttonholes were stunning Grand Prix red roses with their almost velvet appearance. Even though it has been forecast rain for Saturday all week the sun was defiantly shining as I delivered the flowers to Rothley and Loughborough. I hope the day was a wonderful success and the reception at Johns House, Mountsorrel went down a storm. Congratulations to you both! Katie Alice xxx http://www.johnshouse.co.uk/
